University Calicut Distance Education MBA Course Admission

The University of Calicut is established in the year 1968. It is the 2^nd university to setup in Kerala. The main objective of this university is providing higher education in various districts of kerala. It is a residential teaching cum Affiliation University in kerala. At present it is affiliated to 31 post graduation colleges and 304 affiliated colleges. Year by year lakhs of people are coming forward to join in this university.  The university is at Tenhipalam which is in malapuram district, 25 kilometers away from south of Calicut city. There are various departments; these departments are classified into English, Hindi, mathematics, commerce, economics, literature, botany, Sanskrit, zoology, Malayalam, information technology, chemistry, physics, botany and biology. There are five regional study centers in kerala. Almost there are 304 colleges which are affiliated to this university. Among these 304 colleges, 10 in wayanand, 50 in palakad, 82 in malappuram, 72 in thirussur and 83 in khozeda district. The main aim of Calicut University is to provide higher education for the people who are looking for higher studies. This university is having a wide variety of programs and courses in various fields. It is recognized by UGC, it is also one of the member of association of Indian universities.

Course: Admission for distance MBA.

Eligibility: A person should complete graduation from any discipline and from any recognized university. The cutoff marks for applying for an MBA course is 50%. This is the basic requirement to pursue MBA degree.

Admission procedure: The admission procedure is different as compare to the recent one. After completion of the registration for this course, an entrance exam is conducted for 150 marks which include aptitude, reasoning, ability, general knowledge. The person who gets distinct marks is eligible for doing MBA course.
