Karnataka state open university was founded in the year 1996 on 1st June. The main aim of incorporating this university is provide a wide variety of programs and courses for the students who want to study through distance education mode. They introduced many needy programs which are useful for our country. It is one the recognized university of distance education council. Karnataka state Open University is one of the members of Asian association of open universities (AAOU); association of common wealth universities (ACU).it is associated with some countries like Beijing and china. It situated in Mysore near manasagangotri campus. It is about 5km from city centre. The university is built in a cool atmospheric environment. The university campus includes: administration building, library, classes, canteen, cottages, girls hostel, garden etc. the main mission and vision of Karnataka state open university is to provide better quality of education for higher studies. The main objective of KOSC is providing higher education at door steps for learners and to promote distance education in India. It is one of the authorized centers for distance learning. It is approved by MHRD, Ministry of human resource department. The enrolled students for this university are around 2 lakhs. Fee reimbursement scheme is provided for the tribal and SC/ST students.

Eligibility conditions: The candidate should complete graduation either from distance or regular mode. The cutoff percentage for doing distance MBA program is 50%.

Take a D.D of 150 towards KSOC.
Right your details on the D.D and send it to the university.
Entrance exam will be conducted, if you get qualified in that you are supposed to pursue MBA course.
