Maharshi Dayanand University, Distance Education MBA Admission
The Maharshi Dayanand University, established in 1976 was christened after the great Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati. The University is based out of Rohtak, Haryana and is a leading institution for the advancement of higher education in Haryana. Sharing its campus with IIM Rohtak, the university has a host of 34 programs in their distance education faculty. These include under graduate and post graduate programs and also two offerings of collaborative programs and other certificate and diploma and postgraduate diploma courses. These courses include three different MBA programs.
Distance Learning MBA Eligibility
Eligibility criteria for students who wish to enroll for the distance MBA program are as follows. For the Semester Mode MBA programs, candidates must have graduation in any discipline. The course durations will be 2 years and is broken into semesters. The short term MBA course requires atleast a PGDBM or PGDBA, if not if not, at least a post-graduation degree is a must. The course duration is only one year broken into 2 semesters. The executive MBA requires graduation in any discipline but with working experience of atleast three years.
Admissions:
Admissions are done in three schemes.
Annually: Once a year admissions generally in the months of July and August every year.
Semester wise: Admissions are done twice a year in January and July cycles.
Online: Online admissions are done four times a year namely in the months of January, April, July and October.
Lateral entry scheme: There is only one course that is applicable for lateral entry. Candidates with PGDBM, PGDBA, M.Com, MTM or MHM can apply directly for the third semester of the MBA course. Apart from this, no other lateral entry schemes are applicable.
