The Sir Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam is a university that is based in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh and was recognized and established in 1983. It is an exclusively for women and strives to promote the spread of knowledge for the womenfolk of that area. However, its reaches have now spread to all parts of Andhra Pradesh and students from any part can enroll in the university. Host to a wide variety of international linkages, the university is widely recognized and extremely well known for their role in the promotion of self reliance among women through education. It has 16 departments which encompass 52 programs that can be applied for in the distance form. The university offers a host of programs that are known to make graduates highly sought after. Programs such as MBA in Media Managament, Biotechnology and Informatics make this university a very coveted one with the candidates. The CDE that was started in 2000-2001 is also a paragon of excellence and provides a whole list of 2 year under graduate and post graduate programs.

Eligibility: 

 Lady Candidates can apply for the MBA program in the distance format without writing any entrance test. A requirement of graduation is a must and work experience is an added benefit. All candidates can get the applications forms from the offices of the university or they can download them from the website www.spmvv.ac.in, these forms are to be duly filled and submitted before the expiry of the last date that is mentioned on the form with the requisite DD and certificates. Upon admission, original certificates must be shown for verification. The MBA course is of two years duration and semester wise. The applicants are then notified of admissions, exam centers and other course details.
