Jamia milia Islamia University is established in
the year 1920. This university is located at Aligarh which is New Delhi. Later
in the 1988 under the act of parliament it has became a central university. It
is one of the pioneer university in India. Sarojini Naidu spoken few words
about this university, they are “built up the Jamia Milia stone by stone and
sacrifice by sacrifice”. In the year 1962 university of grants commission
declared jamia milia university as deemed university. There are many
departments in this university which may related to arts, science, engineering,
dental, fine arts, law, technology, architecture, natural sciences, social
sciences and humanities. There were 18 members in the foundation committee of
this university. Hakim ajmal khan was elected as first chancellor of this
university. Jamia started “zakir hussian institute of Islamic studies” in the
year 1971; he passed away in the year 1969. There are many courses and programs
for students both in regular and distance discipline.
Jamia Milia University introduced center for
distance learning (CODL). There are some amazing features in CODL. CODL program
was introduced in the year 2002. The main aim of introducing CODL is to promote
the students to pursue higher education for poor people and for employers.

Eligibility: A person should be a graduate with 50% aggregate marks.
Admission procedure: The admission procedure for this university is as follows:

Take the application
form which can be downloaded from university website.

Pay a D.D of 500rs to
the favorable banks of this university.
·
An entrance test for
170 marks is conducted, after qualifying the entrance exam you are supposed to
attend an interview.

After interview
process they will allot a MBA seat for suitable profiles.
